We will meet every OTHER Saturday from 10am-4pm CST, in-person at The Hospice of Baton Rouge, 3600 Florida Blvd. (inside the Baton Rouge General Mid City), Baton Rouge, LA 70806. You will also receive hands-on training. During the class schedule, you will also participate in practical bedside hours with hospice patients and staff. Seating is limited.

We will start on Saturday, January 31st from 11am – 6pm. Classes will be held at the Romano Conference and Education Center. You will receive practical bedside hours with Hospice patients and staff. You will also gain practical experience through our home from hospice and our bereavement center.

In addition to in-person learning, students will complete reading assignments and projects outside of class to facilitate deeper understanding of the subject matter. Students will also receive hands-on training, including practical experience with hospice patients and staff. Training will take place in memory care units, assisted living facilities, and/or personal care homes.

The program will walk you through what you need to know in order to become a doula from a practicing standpoint and introduce you to ways to run a business and get your first clients.

The class will start on September 23, 2025-December 18, 2025. We will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays every other week from 6-9pm.
