Kate Wolfe
End-of-Life and Life Planning Doula, Trauma Conscious and Yin Yoga Guide (RYT200), Sacred Circle Facilitator, Poet and Ritualist
Kate’s path into caregiving began when her mother, Dixie, was diagnosed with cancer—a tender journey that ended in a rapid decline and ultimately her mother’s death. As Kate began to navigate this unexpected loss, she recognized how little guidance existed for families navigating a terminal diagnosis, death and grief. When she discovered the Minnesota Death Collaborative (MNDC) and first heard the term end-of-life doula, something in her heart stirred with recognition.
Kate volunteered with the MNDC, first as Secretary and later as Outreach Director of their Steering Committee, while also completing her training as an End-of-Life and Life Planning Doula through the International Doula Life Movement. These communities offered Kate more than just education—they became sources of wisdom, connection, and care.
Not long after, Kate’s sister, Ali, died following a long struggle with mental unwellness and Substance Use Disorder. Held by her doula and death care communities, Kate’s heart began to heal—but her body still held grief. She turned inward, beginning yoga teacher training at Radiant Life Yoga (RYT 200), and later found deep inner-knowing and ease through Trauma Conscious Yoga and Spring Forest Qigong at Svalja Whole Being, where she continues her advanced 300-hour training.
Kate became a Sacred Circle Facilitator through Global Sisterhood, inspired by the loving community that held her through her personal loss, and now leads community circles and heart-centered rituals that honor grief, transition, and the quiet transformations that so often go unseen.
With warmth, presence, and intuition, Kate accompanies others through life’s sacred thresholds – offering steadiness and gentle presence during moments of uncertainty, change and loss. With an open heart, Kate welcomes you into the International Doula Life Movement training – to reflect, share, and explore the tender truths of living and dying.
